Southeast Polk Community School District Early Childhood Programs are committed to providing a quality learning environment to foster the growth and development of young children. We follow the Iowa Quality Preschool Program Guidelines and strive to promote a purposeful play environment in a developmentally appropriate setting.
All SEP classrooms are staffed by certified Early Childhood teachers, one of the leading indicators of quality programming, and follow research-based curriculum. The preschool program also features support services such as home visits, family events, and screening referrals.
Our four-year-old program is funded through the Statewide Voluntary Preschool Grant and is free to all children. The three-year-old program is tuition-based with scholarships available to income-eligible families. Scholarships are provided through the Early Childhood Iowa Grant and are subject to available funding.
Beginning with a quality preschool program straight through high school graduation, SEP schools are dedicated to providing all students the skills necessary for success in college, career, and civic life.
If you have questions about Little Rams Preschool, please send an email to the district preschool coordinator, Jacqueline White.
