Dear Southeast Polk Families,

The Post Prom Committee would like to invite all parents to get involved with this committee. It is a big event and we have room for many, many volunteers. In fact, with the help of over 130 volunteers, post prom provided a safe and memorable event FREE OF CHARGE for the 800+ students in attendance last year. Throughout the night over 20 activities were offered, as well as, dozens of food items, and over $7,000 in prizes.

This is a particularly important planning year as we are unable to have the inflatables as we have in the past due to district insurance policies. While this presents some challenges, it is also a great opportunity to change things up and really have fun!

In preparation for Post Prom 2019, we are inviting volunteers to serve with us on this committee.  We would like to especially encourage Freshman, Sophomore and Junior parents to help-out given all the myriad of things Senior parents are organizing at prom time.  It also lays a strong foundation of knowledge for future prom events.  Fundraising is beginning and we have filled most of the chair positions, but have room for lots of co-chairs and committee members.

Our next meeting is being held on Monday, October 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room at the high school. Please join us there!
