The Altoona Elementary PTA is a Parent Teacher Association and a part of the Iowa PTA. We are made up of teachers, staff, and families who work together to support and enrich our school. Joining the PTA is a great way to meet new people and build relationships with school staff and Altoona families.
What We Do

Host and fund school events– books fairs, field trips, class parties, community events, and more!

Support staff- conference meals and staff appreciation

Fundraise– Cookie dough, Golf and Games in the Halls, Fundraiser, Restaurant Nights

Give Back– Warm Kids Warm Hearts and Dollars for Scholars
Membership
Joining the PTA doesn’t have to be a huge commitment! Join to get added to our email list and then opt in for whatever works for you. Our goal is to keep everyone informed, involved, and have a voice in whatever way works best for them. Optional meetings are held at the school on the second Monday of the month @ 6:30pm and can be attended virtually or in person.
