High School Winter Formal Week January 20-24, 2026

Our Southeast Polk High School is getting ready for a fun-filled Winter Formal week! It’s all about having fun, hanging out with friends, and showing school spirit. They’ve got games, competitions, an assembly, and of course… the dance.

Tuesday, January 20 — Best Buddies Kickball | 6:30 PM
Winter sports athletes will team up with Best Buddies for a friendly kickball game in the Main Gym.
Spectators are welcome!

Wednesday, January 21 — Dodgeball Tournament | 6:30 PM
Student teams will face off in a schoolwide dodgeball tournament in the Main Gym.
Spectators are welcome!
Team sign-ups were emailed to students on Tuesday, January 6.

Friday, January 23 — Winter Assembly (4th Block)
Students and staff are encouraged to participate! Sign ups available on the High School webpage news post.

Saturday, January 24 — Winter Formal | 8–10 PM

Our high schoolers will step into the romance and charm of the City of Lights at this year’s Winter Formal: A Night in Paris. It will be an evening filled with music, and magical Parisian ambiance. From sparkling lights to iconic French-inspired décor, this unforgettable night will transport them straight to Paris.
