Southeast Polk students have the opportunity to utilize a Chromebook for learning during the school year. To encourage ongoing educational opportunities, students in grades 8 -11 will continue to have access to their Chromebooks by taking them home during the summer months. Please reach out to your building principal if you have any questions or concerns.
A reminder to parents — SEP uses Securly to help keep students safe on their school-issued Chromebooks. As part of this solution, parents are given access to the free SecurlyHOME app and Parent Portal view. Securly allows you to monitor student online activity, filter unwanted sites, have the option of shutting off all wifi access to the Chromebook. You can find more information about parent resources and how to use Securly here.
If your student’s Chromebook needs repaired over the summer, please contact the Technology Office to make arrangements to drop it off by calling 515-957-3458.
