We’re so excited that your kindergartner is coming to Southeast Polk!  We have eight amazing elementary buildings across the district filled with talented and passionate staff who are trained to provide your child with an incredible educational experience. We realize that whether this is your first child entering school or you already have several children attending here, this is an exciting time. We are here to help answer any questions you may have about next year.

To help with this next step for your incoming kindergartner, we host a parent information meeting in the spring, prior to the next school year, to go over information and give you an overview of what Kindergarten looks like in your building. This spring-time meeting is just for parents. We ask that you bring your questions but leave your children at home.
