Just a friendly reminder regarding the Southeast Polk Illness Policy. Please follow these guidelines to help keep our students and staff healthy and safe.

Stay Home

Please keep your child home if they have any of these symptoms:

• Fever of 100.4º or higher
• Diarrhea
• Diagnosed with Strep Throat
• Vomited

Return to School

Only allow your child to return to school after the following guidelines have been met:

• Fever-free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medication
• No diarrhea episodes for 24 hours
• On antibiotics for at least 24 hours, and the symptoms are improving
• Not vomited in the last 24 hours
