Several Southeast Polk High School students recently attended CTE Day at the Capitol, proudly representing our Career & Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs).

Members of our FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) leadership team spent the day learning how the legislative process works, connecting with other CTSO members, and sharing the impact of Career & Technical Education programs at Southeast Polk. Students also had the opportunity to observe the opening session and meet with legislators.

Led by FCCLA Advisor and High School Family and Consumer Sciences Educator Aimee Marasco, our students did an outstanding job representing Southeast Polk with professionalism, confidence, and pride. We are incredibly proud of the leadership they demonstrated and the way they showcased the value of CTE programs in preparing students for future success.
