SEP Students Stepped Into Spring: A Garden Party Fashion Show

From the sketch book to the runway, our Southeast Polk High School Textiles and Design 2 Class, along with the High School Rise Class, created a fashion show garden party!

Spring was in the air! Mrs. Marasco’s Textiles and Design 2 students designed, sewed and modeled beautiful floral, flowing and fun pieces that captured the essence of a sunny spring day. Ms. Sadler’s Rise students promoted and emceed the program. They also transformed the high school auditorium into a whimsical garden party!  Greenery, colorful blooms, twinkling lights, and just the right musical playlist set the perfect tone for a spring-inspired showcase.

A special thanks to Style by Desiree, who sponsored the show, collaborating with the students and providing additional ensembles for the students to model. Also, thanks to Shawn Peterson, SEP High School Family and Consumer Science teacher.

What an amazing opportunity for our talented students to blend fashion, creativity, promotion and community!

The event was free to the public but the Rise Class gathered non-perishable food donations for Caring Hands.
