Four Mile Elementary celebrated Read Across America Day with a special visit from guest readers throughout the building. The day included a visit from Mr. Mohning, Four Mile’s principal from 2009–2021, along with several other special guests who helped bring stories to life for our students.

Established by the National Education Association in 1998, Read Across America Day is designed to encourage a love of reading and help excite students about books. Having school leaders and community members share their favorite stories with students helped make the day extra special.

Thanks to our board members, Superintendent, CFO, and all of the others who took time out of their day to read to our students today!
