The Southeast Polk School Board voted to make up snow day instructional hours by changing the last Wednesday in April and the first two Wednesdays in May into full student instructional days. This adds two instructional hours per Wednesday and puts us in compliance with state code requirements.

This will allow us to keep Wednesday, May 28, 2025, which is already scheduled for a full day, as the final day of the school year for students.
