Points of Pride

Students in grades 3-5 have an opportunity to serve as a representative or officer for our Altoona Elementary Student Council.
The Altoona Elementary Student Council and Student Body continues to provide support and outreach to our community and beyond.
Altoona students raised $500 to support the Animal Rescue League of Central Iowa this past school year. This is the sixth consecutive year that Altoona Elementary has supported ARL.
Altoona Elementary is a Olweus (Bullying Prevention) School.
We are a "Project Lead the Way" and STEM School.
Altoona Elementary School received the PBIS Honor Plus Level Award from the Iowa Department of Education.
