📣 2026–2027 Online Registration Will Open 👉️March 23👈️ for ALL #1SEP Students
Beginning Monday, March 23, 2026, online registration will open for all Southeast Polk students in preschool through 12th grade for the 2026–2027 school year. There is nothing families need to do... at this time.
🚨 Important change this year:
We’re making online student registration easier for families for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. In previous years, preschool and kindergarten families registered earlier in February. All other students registered after Spring Break. To simplify the process, this year the online registration will open at the same time for all Preschool through 12th-grade students on March 23. This streamlined approach is designed to reduce confusion and make registration more convenient for parents and guardians.
For more information on required forms, check out our Enrollment webpage: https://www.southeastpolk.org/enrollment/
Stay tuned for more information on March 23rd on how to register your students for school.

Recently, our #1SEP High School Anatomy students participated in the Science Center of Iowa's Live From the Heart event. This virtual presentation of a live open heart procedure through the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago and Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Ill., allowed ...our students to "go live" into the operating room and watch via video conference as a surgical team performed heart surgery. Students learned about heart health and medical careers. Physician’s Assistants who work on a local heart care team were present to answer questions.❤️

WOW! Over 35 local vendors, organizations and colleges were on hand at the @sepjuniorhigh for the College and Career Fair! Students were able to talk with them about different career options, trades programs and post secondary options. Students were given a "passport" and after talking ...with at least 1 college and 2 organizations, they could turn in their passport to be part of a raffle drawing. Thanks to all of the organizations who took time to talk with our #1SEP Jr. High students about ways they can succeed in college, career and civic life!
