It's a late start/early out on Wednesday.
And Thursday is the last day for students.
As Board Recognition Month comes to a close, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our dedicated Southeast Polk School Board members for their leadership, service, and commitment to our students, staff, and community.🫶
Our board members volunteer countless hours throughout the year... to help guide the district and ensure every student is prepared for success in college, career, and civic life. Their work goes far beyond board meetings. They make it a priority to visit every school building and department across the district to learn and listen. Most recently, they spent time with our Business Services department. They are out in our community to stay connected to the people in our community.
Superintendent Dirk Halupnik and others recognized and thanked the Board during the May 7 meeting, but their impact is appreciated every single day. Thank you, #1SEP School Board, for your dedication to our students and community! 🖤💛🐏
