Food Pantry and Clothes Hanger Information

Caring Hands Outreach Center is a collaborative effort of churches and community organizations in the Southeast Polk region of Central Iowa, providing food, clothing, and household items to those in need.

Altoona Kids Cafe is a Summer Food Service Program that provides summer lunches to students who reside within the Southeast Polk School District. If you are interested in lending a hand or joining them for lunch, please contact us.
Location: Cross Cafe located inside Lutheran Church of the Cross, in Altoona.
Lunch Offerings: They will serve lunch Monday through Friday, 11:30-12:30 pm June and July.

School Supplies – Swerve Outreach is a non-profit organization that works very hard to meet many needs of students in our community. Please contact your school counselor to receive assistance.
