Construction Central

Success For Every Child

Welcome to Southeast Polk’s Construction Central!

In November 2025, Southeast Polk voters approved a $51 million bond referendum to invest in safe, modern, and future-ready learning environments for our students.

Thanks to the strong support of our community, these projects will address enrollment growth, enhance safety and accessibility, and ensure our facilities continue to reflect the excellence of Southeast Polk.

This page serves as your central hub for updates, timelines, and progress on all major construction projects.

Why This Matters

Southeast Polk continues to grow, with projections showing 500+ additional students in the next four years, particularly at the elementary level. To hear more about the projected growth in our district, click on the livestream of the April 9, 2026, Board Meeting at the 1:01:26 mark for the RSP and Associates’ Enrollment Projection Report: SEP April 9, 2026, Board Meeting

These projects ensure we can:

  • Maintain manageable class sizes
  • Keep students learning close to home
  • Provide safe, secure, and accessible environments
  • Create flexible, modern spaces that support today’s learning

This is not just about buildings but about creating opportunities for every student to succeed.
