Transporting Students Safely Across the Southeast Polk Community School District
Providing safe, dependable transportation to and from school and off-campus school activities for our students every day takes a dedicated team of mechanics and drivers. Approximately 60 percent of our over 7,000 students rely on our transportation team who cover 114 square miles, traveling a combined 840,000 miles per year.

Be Informed About Student Ridership
The Here Comes the Bus® app is available to parents of Southeast Polk students.
Know when and where your child boards and exits the bus.
- Access the app from your smartphone, tablet or computer, available on the App Store and Google Play
- Receive push notifications and/or email alerts
How to get started:
- Download the Here Comes the Bus app* or visit herecomesthebus.com
- Click the “Sign Up” button
- Enter school code 86888 and click “Next” followed by “Confirm”
- Complete the “User Profile” box
- Under “My Students,” click “Add.” Enter your child’s last name and student ID number
- Once you confirm your information, you’re ready to begin using Student Ridership (via Here comes the Bus)!
