Southeast Polk Students and Parents/Guardians,

Many of you have asked about the process for students to follow to pick up personal property that is still at school and also for returning school-issued property (textbooks, athletic/band uniforms,  Chromebooks – seniors are the only students who will turn these in, etc.).  Students/parents may come to the building according to the following schedule on May 20-22.  Please be patient and demonstrate grace as we are all trying to accomplish the same goal in the most efficient way as possible.

The following video explains the procedure for students/parents to follow when coming to the building.  There will be locations on the secondary campus that will be established for each type of item needing to be returned/collected, but not all students will need to stop at each of the eight checkpoints.  Seniors will be allowed to pick up industrial technology projects, art projects, and music-related personal property.  All underclassmen (9th-11th grade) will be able to pick up their projects in the fall.

If students have school property that they are still using and do not want to turn in at this time, then they may continue to use these items and turn them in between 9:00am-noon on Friday, May 29.  This last opportunity will all occur at the main commons entrance on the east side of the building.

Thank you, and please let us know if you have any questions.  Take care!

Mr. Pettit
