Thank you to Polk County for their $15,000 donation to Mitchellville Elementary for new playground equipment. The grant from Polk County will allow the school to expand their playground equipment by adding 2 triple hoop/drop shots, 2 tetherball courts, 2 Gaga Ball pits, and 2 soccer goals.
Our students, staff, and PTA want to thank Polk County Supervisor Steve Van Oort, Polk County Grant Administrator Lisa Moody-Tunks, and SEP Board Member Ric Powell for their work on this donation to Mitchellville Elementary!
