The Southeast Polk Best Buddies Chapter is one of 30 high schools nationwide to receive the Outstanding High School Chapter Award for the 2018-2019 academic year. There are over 1500 Best Buddy chapters worldwide. Our chapter accepted the award at The National Leadership Conference at Indiana University this summer. Southeast Polk was recognized for the impact our chapter has made on students and for the development of opportunities that promote inclusion and acceptance in our school and community.
