Centennial Elementary’s first 2019-2020 PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) Assembly was themed Friends and it was an entertaining one! Kara Buerger, Centennial’s Guidance Counselor, with the help of several Centennial teachers, set up engaging games and trivia that helped all grades work together and provided ways for everyone to get to know each other better.
Mrs. Bouma’s 3rd Grade Class received a celebrated welcome to the assembly for winning the Compliment Card Competition. When an adult, other than the student’s teacher, “catches” a student demonstrating positive behavior, they hand the student a compliment card. Mrs. Bouma’s class received the most compliment cards for following the RAMS Plan.
