The Altoona and Pleasant Hill Hy-Vee Stores recently held a special campaign. For every bowl of soup sold during their campaign, a portion of those sales was set aside for the Southeast Polk School District. Yesterday, they presented the District with a check for $977.59!
The District will be using these funds as a donation toward negative food and nutrition student account balances.
