We want to share our SEP Awards website with our community for students who were underclassmen during Spring 2020.  Normally, an Honors Assembly would have been held to recognize the many students who earned an Academic Letter, received a Lamp of Knowledge pin, and were accepted into our National Honor Society. We hoped to be able to hold the assembly this fall, but, unfortunately, that will not be possible.  For this reason we are recognizing the following awards:

Academic Letters – The SEP Academic Letter is awarded to students who earn a grade point of 3.500 for two consecutive semesters.  The student must be enrolled in six classes.

These students will receive an academic letter.

Lamp of Knowledge Pin – This pin is awarded to students who already earned an academic letter and achieved a 3.500 grade point average for an additional two semesters.  The student must be enrolled in six classes.

These students will receive a lamp of knowledge pin.

National Honor Society – The students recognized applied for membership and were accepted during Spring 2020.

These students will earn a gold cord at graduation.

Honors Breakfast – We were not able to host our annual Bill Burch Honors Breakfast in April 2020.  These students are included on this site as a way to recognize their achievements.

These students will receive a certificate and an excellence pin.

We ask the students to stop by the counseling office this week to pick up their items.  Students who are recognized for earning an Academic Letter, receiving a Lamp of Knowledge pin, or were accepted into National Honor Society will receive a handout in addition to their item to pick up.  Students who were invited to the Honors Breakfast will receive a booklet in addition to their items.

*These awards are based on the following semesters: Fall 2018, Spring 2019, and Fall 2019.  Spring 2020 is not included at this time.  It will be included for our awards assembly during Spring 2021.
