Every August, Staples asks their customers at checkout if they would like to purchase a $5 or $10 Care Package for our local elementary schools and every year our amazing community responds, “Yes!”
Each customer signs a card to be included with the care package so our students can see who was sending the love. The 150+ packages include school supplies like colored pencils, markers, glue sticks and folders and will be evenly distributed to our 8 elementary schools. Altoona Staples is still accepting donations.
We are so thankful for our community – local businesses and families helping our students to have what they need to learn, lead and live!
