Seniors and Parents/Guardians,
After further discussion with the prom committee, I have decided to make an adjustment for this spring’s prom at Southeast Polk High School. We will allow SEP seniors to purchase a ticket for a non-senior guest. Our typical regulations will be imposed regarding eligible prom guests (SEP or non-SEP students which are in high school or graduates under the age of 21).
Only SEP seniors may purchase prom tickets, but the prom waiver must be completed prior to buying tickets. This WAIVER must be signed by a parent/guardian of both the SEP senior and the guest. Waivers should be turned into Marci Keesee in the attendance office prior to purchasing tickets.
Masks will still be mandatory for this event.
A post-prom event will still be offered to all SEP seniors. Seniors do not have to attend prom to be able to attend post-prom. Prom guests will also be allowed to attend post-prom, but SEP juniors who do not attend prom will not be allowed to attend post-prom. More information will be forthcoming from the parent post-prom committee.
