Southeast Polk Dollars for Scholars awarded $225,600 in scholarships to 187 SEP Seniors at last night’s festivities.
The Southeast Polk Dollars for Scholars Foundation, as well as hundreds of businesses, individuals, and organizations in the Southeast Polk area make these scholarships possible each year.
Joann Moeller, Southeast Polk Dollars for Scholars board president shared,
“We are so pleased to be able to continue our tradition of awarding thousands of dollars in scholarships to our school district’s graduating seniors. We are able to do this because of all the generous people in the Southeast Polk community. “
SEP Dollars for Scholars has been awarding scholarships since 2001. The organization’s mission is to provide financial scholarships to our grads who wish to further their education. Whether the goal is to attend a trade school, junior college, business education, university, or join an apprentice program, the foundation supported by a strong endowment fund, helps these young people pursue their educational objectives.
