Summer of 2021 transition opportunities for 7th to 8th-grade students-

  • Open House will be held on August 2nd and 4th from 11:00 a.m.- 7:00 p.m.
  • 8th Grade Meet and Greet Teachers will be August 16th from 4:00- 6:00 p.m.
  • Students can tour the building on their own between the dates of July 19th and August 5th from 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Chorus and Band Additional Information for the 2021-2022 School Year (as of 1/17/21)

If students want to participate in band and choir they can do the following-

  • Sign up for band opposite of physical education.
  • Notify any of the following people to let them know that the student is interested in chorus and band (email or phone call).
    • Anthony Cravero (Junior High Chorus Teacher)
    • Mike Dailey (Junior High Principal)
    • Kristin Joy (Spring Creek Band Teacher)
    • Laura Grotzinger (Spring Creek Music Teacher)

Once a staff member is notified we will put the student’s name on a list.  The students on this list will have the opportunity to do chorus during flex class at SEP Junior High.

Here is additional information that applies to before and after school opportunities for 7th and 8th-grade students interested in Band and Chorus.

Jazz Band for 7th Grade- Wednesday after school- 3:00-4:00
     Last Week of October to the end of February
Jazz Band for 8th Grade- Tuesday and Thursday before school- 6:40-7:25 a.m.
     Last Week of October to the end of February
Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Combo and Clarinet Choir- there will be a signup opportunity working with Ms. Randall. Sign-ups typically occur during the 3rd quarter and begin after Spring Break
7th and 8th Grade Mixed Choir- Monday and Friday 6:45-7:25 a.m.
Show Choir (Sudden Impulse)- Monday and Thursday  3:00-5:00 p.m.

Auditions for show choir will occur the first full week of school for incoming 7th and 8th grade students.  Feel free to contact Mr. Cravero with any questions regarding Junior High chorus classes or activities.
