This year’s annual Musical Sweets performance was like no other! The show tells the story of a girl whose life is changed by a simple trip to the circus. Rather than being troubled by the performers’ oddities, she is intrigued by the way their differences are celebrated and realizes that ultimately what makes each of them different is also what makes them special. How exciting that our junior high and high school vocal performers were able to share with audiences this amazing message of inclusion during their performances!

RAMification, Southeast Polk’s varsity show choir, brought home several awards this year:
*Best choreography, best soloist, best crew and Grand Champion at Davenport North
*Third place and two best soloist awards at North Polk
*Best band, most entertaining show, best crew, 2 best soloist awards, best vocals, best choreography, 1st place in the 4A division, and grand champion at Fort Madison.

While the team certainly enjoyed bringing home hardware each weekend, they also felt privileged to share a powerful message every time they stepped on stage.

RAMification is under the direction of Jamie Logan and is assisted by Talen Birchmier, Allison Borts, and Osbaldo Padilla.

Musical Sweets also featured our JV team Vocal Gold under the direction of Ella Cavin and our Junior High show choir, Sudden Impulse, under the direction of Katharine Bergman.

Bravo to all involved!
