Mr. Karr’s Mitchellville Elementary’s 1st-grade class went on a field trip without leaving their classroom! This class was the first to use the new virtual reality goggles. They decided to go to the ocean to see the beach, and “jumped” in to see fish, coral reefs and even a shark! Then they toured a sunken ship – All from the safety of their classroom. What an incredible learning experience!
