The Great Kindness Challenge (GKC) is a powerful and uplifting week where students around the world are challenged to complete as many acts of kindness as they can. Centennial Elementary accepted and rocked this challenge!

Their goal was to contribute to the twenty billion kind acts taking place around the world last week. Students, staff and families at Centennial Elementary celebrated the GKC in several creative ways. They showed gratitude towards others by writing kind notes to friends and staff, created class murals and artwork to pledge kind acts they have done in our school and community, used the GKC school and family kindness checklists to help spread kindness as many places as possible in our community.

Centennial prioritizes and focuses on school connectedness and creating a sense of belonging for everyone, not only during this week but all year long.
