The 38th Annual Iowa Industrial Technology Expo, held on May 8, 2026, was a success once again. It’s an incredible event that highlights innovation, hands-on learning, and career exploration in industrial and technical fields. Hundreds of students from around the state submitted projects in the following categories for display and judging: 

• Electrical
• Carpentry
• Welding
• Metal Working
• Robotics
• Plumbing
• Precision Measurement
• Car Show
• and more!

Southeast Polk High School Industrial Tech Teacher Brett Rickabaugh surprised retiring Superintendent Dirk Halupnik with a plaque thanking him for his years of support.
