Post-Prom Committee Information

Dear families of Southeast Polk juniors and seniors,

Regardless if your student attends Prom, Post-Prom provides SEP juniors and seniors an opportunity to spend time with friends and enjoy a variety of fun activities in a safe environment.

Here are some Post Prom Fun Facts from 2019:

  • 800+ students took part in Post Prom.
  • 75+ community partners donated prizes or monetary gifts.
  • 130 volunteers ran games, served food and helped ensure the night ran smoothly.
  • Over $4,000 in prizes were given including laptops, iPads, tablets and Keurig Coffee Brewers.
  • 100+ gift certificates, valued at a minimum of $20 each, were given away at the prize drawing; $3,000 in gift cards total.
  • 30 activities were offered including a hypnotist, human foosball, laser tag, mechanical bull, an obstacle course, a spin tee machine, karaoke and much, much more.
  • Dozens of free menu items including pizza, crispitos, mini donuts, fruit, veggies, desserts, frozen custard, water, and pop kept students and volunteers energized during the night.

In 2020, we will offer many of these same activities as well as a few new surprises. It is through the generous financial support and prize donations from families and area businesses that we can host this amazing event for free.

There is no charge to the students to play games, or have food and drink at Post Prom, however, we do request that parents make a $30 contribution to help to make this event possible. This can be sent to the high school, attn. Post-Prom Committee. Your tax-deductible checks should be made payable to SEP High School Post Prom. Please consider making a donation to help support Post Prom 2020.  A 30$ donation is suggested, but any gift is appreciated.

For your convenience, you can also click to be linked to the Post Prom Donation Page on RAM Mall.  You can also email with any questions or to volunteer!

Right now all 2020 Post Prom Committee positions are filled but if you love to plan and are organized, please consider joining so that this wonderful tradition of providing a safe and fun environment for our students continues. An informal meeting will be scheduled soon. If interested, please email Throughout the year, Post-Prom Committee volunteers work at a variety of events as well as contact area businesses to raise money and prizes.

We also invite you to run one of the games or activities the night of Post Prom. If you are interested, simply return the attached volunteer form, and we will contact you with more information.

Thank you in advance for your support of this memorable event. We look forward to hearing from you!
