Southeast Polk Celebrates the Remarkable Achievements of the Class of 2025

On May 14, 2025, Southeast Polk Community School District proudly celebrated a significant milestone in the lives of 198 graduating seniors who were awarded over $242,000 in scholarships through the Southeast Polk Dollars for Scholars program. This event not only recognized the academic achievements of our students but also highlighted the deep-rooted commitment of our entire school community to student success.

These scholarships represent more than financial support—they are a reflection of the students’ hard work, determination, and ambition, as well as the unwavering encouragement they’ve received from families, educators, mentors, and community members. The scholarships awarded this year will support a diverse range of postsecondary paths, including trade schools, two-year colleges, and four-year universities, underscoring our belief in the many routes to success.

For 24 years, Southeast Polk Dollars for Scholars has been a cornerstone of our commitment to educational excellence. The tireless efforts of the Dollars for Scholars Board of Directors have made this program possible. Through year-round fundraising, coordination, and community outreach, the board has ensured that each scholarship reflects the values, generosity, and spirit of our community. Their dedication ensures that every recipient feels seen, heard, and valued.
