In previous years, approximately 60 percent of our 6,800 students rely on our team of dedicated mechanics and drivers every school day. Our buses and other vehicles cover 114 square miles, traveling a combined 840,000 miles per year.
The Transportation Department is an active participant of the National Standards Committee of the National Congress for School Transportation which sets stringent standards for school buses to assure the safety of our young passengers and the other drivers with who we share the roads. We invite you to learn more about our District’s policies, eligibility requirements, fees and our commitment to safety.
As we Return to Learn this fall, we’ve updated our transportation procedures. Please follow this link to see the 2021-2022 Return to Learn Plan
